Community Constellations

Climate Cafés are free 90-minute gatherings which focus on climate-related emotions because we know that when we engage in meaningful conversation and action in the context of a community, we grow our capacity to serve something bigger than ourselves.Being human has always involved persisting through danger and uncertainty. By embracing our wholeness & our love for nature, plants and animals, and humanity in the face of great loss, our grief can empower us to envision & hope for a better future for all.Too often, our grief and anxiety around climate change lacks the community awareness, support, and rituals that would help us build resiliency. Now more than ever, we need places & spaces to share our heavy emotions, our concerns, our hopes, and our dreams.This event takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at The Philosopher's House in Johnson City, TN and is facilitated by Registered Climate Therapist, Chelsea Green, MA, LPC, CPA-NA

Community Constellations are an immersive experiential workshop &amp; healing modality facilitated by Licensed Therapist &amp; local community organizer, Chelsea Green, of Anu Beginning Therapy, LLC.These groups are also known as Systemic Constellations by the way they reflect the larger systems in which we live. When we are too close to a situation, we can no longer see it clearly. This is where constellations can be helpful, as they offer a safe container within which to observe what may have once felt too close, too blurry, too uncomfortable, or too overwhelming. During a session, we literally get to see what someone else would do in our shoes -- this alone can do wonders for the nervous system.This event will take place at on Thursday, April 6th, from 6pm to 7:30pm atSANCTUARY YOGA in Charleston, SC.720 Magnolia Road, Ste 6What is it like to participate in a constellation? For me, it&#x27;s like stepping outside of myself for a short time and stepping in to another&#x27;s lived experience with intention when I agree to be someone&#x27;s representative. When participating in a constellation, I notice what it&#x27;s like for me to be in that person&#x27;s particular family, job, living situation, system, or struggle. I tend to feel more compassion for the parts of myself I come into contact with as I stand in another&#x27;s shoes. Constellation sessions remind us of our interconnectedness, while grounding us within the context of our unique family story, our social network, and our shared culture. We come to Community Constellations not to gain more knowledge, but to have an experience that - if we&#x27;re willing - changes us for the better.Tickets are always FREE, but spots are limited!We meet on the 1st Thursday of every month from 6-7:30pm.SANCTUARY YOGA | 720 Magnolia Road, Ste 6________________________________________________________________________________________PARTICIPANT AGREEMENT:I understand that this workshop/course may bring up issues of a highly personal nature that may cause me to experience emotional or physical responses that may be unexpected and/or unpleasant.
