Community Briefing on the Ethiopian Jewish Community

Jeffrey J. Wild, Federation vice chair, and Erika B. Rudin-Luria, Federation president, will share their recent experience in Ethiopia and their historic journey with the Ethiopian Jewish community to Israel. We will learn about those who made Aliyah and their excitement to arrive in Israel after waiting decades to reunite with family members. We will also be joined by a professional from the Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), who will share their insight on Ethiopian Aliyah and plans for how these new immigrants will be integrated into Israeli society.
