About this event

The book of James is a letter that serves as a how-to manual for the Christian life. When we deal with trials, contentions, and lack of faith, James teaches us that we can still have joy amid our circumstances. The book's foundation is the importance of faith; faith or the lack thereof can determine the direction of one’s life.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring a bible?

We will be reading from the Bible, so it is encouraged! If you don't have one, we can share.

Can non-Christians attend?

Sure! We are happy to have anyone who wants to come. We only ask that you be respectful.

What level of participation is required of me?

It tends to be a smaller group and thus a more intiimate setting, but speak (or don't) as much as is comfortable for you. We do encourage discussion and questions.
