Community Archive Workshop: Uncovering Peckham
Join the Making Connections team and members of the community to contribute to a collective archive project and share stories of Peckham.
The Making Connections team is coming back for another round this year! To kick things off, we are hosting community organisers and members of the Peckham community to join us for an open workshop session in the Old Waiting Room.
Workshop participants will be asked to bring objects, photos, and recordings that represent their connections to Peckham. These items and their connected stories will be shared throughout the session and recorded for a collective storytelling project. It will be a great opportunity to meet others in the community and share memories in the beautiful Old Waiting Room space.
This workshop will help inform the Making Connections team on the types of events to organise in the future for the Peckham community. There will be another workshop on the 11th June from 6-8pm for those who are unable to attend this workshop.
Snacks and refreshments will be provided. The event is free and open to everyone who has a connection to Peckham. Hope to see you there!
