<P>Managing expectations is one of the most challenging aspects of any freelance / agency / client relationship. </P>
<P>In this talk, Freelance Motion Designer <A HREF="http://dylankmercer.com/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dylan Mercer</A> and Rachel Service <A HREF="http://www.happinessconcierge.com.au/events/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Happiness Concierge </A>and <A HREF="http://freelance.org.au/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Freelance.org.au</A> Advisory Board member will outline some of their top tips for communicating with clients to deliver great work, including managing scope creep, saying no, fees, deliverables, timelines, getting more work after the job is complete and how to have challenging conversations. </P>
<P>Following the talk Dylan and Rachel will hold a Q&A to discuss challenges attendees wish to workshop. </P>

<P>A motion graphics freelancer with ten years experience, <A HREF="http://dylankmercer.com/indulge-me/#/about/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Dylan Mercer</A> has worked with major brands and agencies including Australian Super, Telstra, The Royal Melbourne Hospital, NAB, Toyota, VicRoads, The Gruen Transfer, Target, ANZ and Commonwealth Bank. Freelancing for five of those years, Dylan has experience educating clients as to the work process behind his work and managing expectatoins including saying no, negotiating a day rate and working with a client to help them understand the value of motion graphics.</P>
