About this event

  • 2 hours

The seminar is hosted by Captain Devin Denman. He is a former fishing guide who teaches people how to fish the inshore waters of Louisiana for speckled trout, redfish and more.

This seminar focuses on the following common mistakes:

  • making good wind calls
  • getting good presentations on fish
  • fishing community holes
  • keeping fishing reports
  • no fishing plan (before launching)
  • fighting the Time Vampire
  • not fishing enough spots
  • capitalizing on the bite
  • not having backups

The seminar begins at 4pm inside the business conference room at the Hilton Garden Inn in Covington, Louisiana near the Movie Tavern in Covington. Water and coffee will be provided, but it is recommended that you bring note taking material.

Additionally, you are encouraged to think of sticking points you encounter during your fishing trip!

This is because Captain Devin will be addressing those sticking points at the end, so if you think of them in advance then you'll know to bring them up when asked.

This way you can get your personal sticking points out of the way and add more value to the seminar itself. You could be helping a fellow angler!
