Did you ever want to speak directly with Congressional representatives about your perspective on an issue of importance to you? Participating in this workshop will offer you that opportunity!
Braver Angels is teaming with CommonSense American (CSA) to explore policies currently under consideration by Congress that would extend financial support in the form of Pell Grants, to short-term, technical, and skills-based training. CSA is bipartisan, non profit organization dedicated to bringing common sense to American politics through a bipartisan focus and by bringing American voices directly to the halls of Congress, https://www.commonsenseamerican.org/
In this workshop, four to five Reds and four to five Blues will:
- Evaluate specific policy proposals currently under legislative debate.
- Share benefits of and concerns about the policies.
- Identify policies for which both Reds and Blues agree.
- Share their voices with Congress
