CommHIT24 Summit: Forging Formidable Resilience Team Titan Registration

C.S. Lewis rightly said that “Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny. Overcoming hardships, whatever the hardships may be, is no simple task. Yet, we can boil it down to one word: Resilience. Put simply, resilience is the ability to adapt, withstand, or recover from disruptions while continuing to deliver value.

Most examples of resilience have a more complex story that involves more than one person and a glut of causal factors—seen and unseen. Resilience is usually accomplished by teams that are prepared for challenges and, in a coordinated way, shift with the chaos of the unavoidable crisis. Leaders who understand that all teammates play important roles and help teammates explicitly understand their purposes are better prepared for adversity. For all of us, life is full of difficulties. Our futures promise more challenges—challenges that will test the resilience of your company, your family and friends, and you.

This year’s CommHIT24 is dedicated to sharing what businesses and individuals need to know to recover, stabilize, and continue with purpose and mission when they face volatility, adversity, struggles, or disasters. CommHIT24 will showcase the latest and greatest presentations and activities to instill resilience into your business, your community, and your personal life. Come to CommHIT24 on October 17, 2024 at the Kennedy Space Center. When you face challenges, we want your story be one of resilience.

Important Information Regarding Driving and Parking for the Event:

1. ALL people entering through the gates must be on the security logs and must present a driver's license or other government issued ID with MATCHING name. We need to send your information to Kennedy Space Center Security for clearance by October 9 at 5pm. Please ensure that you provide your name/email/phone and name/email/phone of all people (i.e., your guests, driver) entering Kennedy Space Center are provided to CommHIT by October 9 at 5pm.
2. You cannot come in using a ride share or taxi, you will not be let in. You may have a person drive you in; however, they must be cleared on the Kennedy Space Center security log beforehand.You may bring a driver or guest (e.g., family, friend) who is not attending the event—but plans to go to the Kennedy Space Center while you are busy in the event. Although there is no additional charge for that person, we must include them on the Kennedy Space Center security log for entry and parking.
3. If you will be having additional guests/driver, please send an email to jaquesha.jefferson@commhit.org by October 9 at 5pm with their names (as on their driver's license or other government issued ID), emails, and phone numbers. Children under 16 only require name for the security log and can use their guardian's email and phone number.
4. CommHIT will send you Kennedy Space Center entry and parking instructions for you by October 15.
