Commanding Your Light PM Workshop
Using the knowledge from the morning class, participants will be given the opportunity to photograph models and interact with the gear.

- Simple and expandable posing guidelines
- Balancing Strobe and Natural light
- The factors affecting light quality
- Lighting tools available for creating your vision in-camera
Meet Your Instructor: J. Peter Fox
Pete is an award winning photographer and a former Lead Technical Support/Product Specialist at F J Westcott in Maumee Ohio. He is described by Westcott management as an integral part of the company's success with a substantial role in the development of the landmark FJ lighting system.
Since moving to Arizona in 2020, Pete continues to instruct photographers on lighting and light modifier choices, and offers advice to aid them in solving lighting challenges. His education and real-world experiences with the use of various gear, hands on design of innovative new gear, and a willingness to share his knowledge, are the key to the information he brings to his classes and workshops.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Bowling Green State University, he initially began his career in photography as a wedding photographer. Prior to his work at Westcott, Pete managed a successful studio specializing in Senior Portraits and High-Volume Sports. He was also a national photography trainer for Prestige Portraits, national sales intitative contributor, Chairman’s Photographic Award winner and taught studio photography at Owens College.
