Comics!

Children's Art CarnivalNew York, NY
Saturday, Mar 21 from 2 pm to 4 pm
Overview

Part 2 of 2 part series. You are welcome to join even if you missed the first one.

Are you ready to create comics? This fun, 2-part class is great for kids or adults who’d like to try making their own. Beginning with character creation, we’ll work together to craft a character while discussing things like anatomy, reference, style, drawing tools and turn-arounds. In the Second session, we’ll be taking the character we made together and exploring simple and fun ways to construct a story for it. We’ll also cover things like character voice, writing vs. what you can show with art, and story pacing.
