Comic Creations Camp! (For ages 6-8)

Have you been flying through Cat Kid books and wondering where you can find a group of your own for sharing ideas and advice? In this camp we will be looking at fun ways cartoonists and illustrators brainstorm ideas and characters, alternstive ways to make comics, and using collaboration to develop our own characters and plots. Campers will be working toward the goal of a finished full page comic spread, and creating a sketchbook full of future ideas to rely on for my ideas throughout the year. We will draw inspiration from Dav Pilkey, Cece Bell, Ben Clanton, Lynda Barry and Ben Hatke.
