With the legendary Comic-Con as its backdrop, FutureTechLive! & FanHacks League will host its inaugural Fan Engagement Hackathons event fostering innovation and creativity among young budding tech entrepreneurs from across So. California and around world attending Comic-Con 2018 San Diego.Our innovation pipeline events and programs are about democratizing whom will build tools, identify and customizes solutions, and launch the next great ideas that positively changes the world by creating a support network at the events where students engage, build, connect, and have fun!Our challenge is open to technical and no-technical college, university and high school students. These groups are among the most avid fantasy content, gaming, esports and mobile technology enthusiasts. We look forward to giving Comic-Con fans the opportunity to conceive and help build next generation fan engagement XR, AI and Blockchain powered apps.

WHAT:  Comic-Con’s first-ever Hackathon! 
WHEN: July 18-19th, 2018

WHERE: Omni Hotel in Downtown San Diego – as part of FutureTechLive! @ Comic-Con
WHY: Do you have an idea for an app that will disrupt the way we experience, consume or create entertainment content?
Be part of history by partaking in the first Comic-Con Hackathon. This hackathon is designed to get you to think outside the box to innovate fan engagement and make the fan experience better!
The FutureTechLive!@Comic-Con Hackathon brings together teams of passionate fans collaborating with coders, hackers, artists, designers and tech specialists to make entertaining fan engagement experiences for mobile devices using VR/AR/MR (XR), Ai, and Blockchain technologies.
During this 1-day hack (and prep session the day before, where you also get a sneak peek and playtime with the coolest tech experiences at FutureTechLive!@Comic-Con), you will brainstorm and work to develop solutions to the identified problems and use XR, Ai and Blockchain move mobile fan experience forward. It's also your chance to create a valuable network of mentors and meet likeminded peers.
The themes: VR/AR/MR (XR), Ai, Blockchain and Fan Engagement meets Mobile Fan Engagement and the Fan Experience!
Goals: Working towards working demos/prototypes at the end of the 1-day hack, to bring these ideas beyond presentations. 
We are inviting creative, technical and non-technical Comic-Con fans to learn XR and Blockchain tools and use these new skills to develop and create!
Participants will divided into teams no larger than 4.
Given the tight timeframe, these are expected to be rough prototypes to simply demonstrate the possibilities!
