How long is each camp day?

Summer camp is Monday, July 21 – Friday, July 25 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. EDT

Question 2

How will drop-off and pick-up work?

Drop-off and pick-up will be in the vestibule just inside the FRONT door of The Wren's Nest. Parents/guardians must SIGN CAMPERS IN AND OUT IN PERSON before and after the workshop. If someone other than a student’s parent or legal guardian picks them up, we require prior written notice.

What do students need to bring?

We will provide notebooks and drawing utensils for students. Campers are allowed to have cell phones during the summer camp but are discouraged from using them during the hours of instruction, snack, and lunch times. The Wren’s Nest is not responsible for any items that are lost, broken, or stolen.

Who is leading the workshop?

We are excited to partner with The Comic Workshop, a husband and wife team of professional artists who have been educating youth for over 10 years. Phillip is the lead instructor and resident comic expert. Stephanie manages program schedules, partnerships, and supports curriculum design.

How big are the workshops?

In order to facilitate a meaningful learning experience that fits our unique venue, each workshop will have a maximum capacity of 12 students.

Question 6

What is your cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

Cancellations will be honored up to Sunday July 6th. If your cancellation is made after July 6th, you will not be eligible for any refund. If your cancellation is made before July 6th, depending on your cancellation date you will receive a partial refund minus a $25 processing fee. (see below)

What is your refund policy?

Accepted Answer

Refunds will NOT be given for cancellations made after July 6th, no-shows or partial attendance or missing a day of camp.  If you cancel between June 22- July 6th you are eligible for refund of 1/2 tuition minus a processing fee. You will receive a full refund if you cancel one month out or more.

Question 8

What is your lunch/snack policy?

Please make sure you pack your camper’s lunch each day and we highly encourage you to pack a snack in addition. We recommend packing lunch in thermal bags; campers will NOT have access to a microwave or refrigerator. SNACKS CONTAINING NUTS ARE NOT PERMITTED.
