About this event

Our Comfort Techniques for Labor (Online) class offers dedicated practice time to review relaxation techniques, breathing exercises and effective comfort measures for labor. The class offers practical ideas and strategies to help manage the labor process with confidence. This online class will be taught live via Zoom with a combination of instruction, demonstrations, and active practice time. Please note that this class is designed to be taken after one of our Childbirth Prep classes and should not be considered the sole resource for labor and birth preparation.

Class Length: One session, 2 hours

Class Fee: $50 per couple

  • Understanding pain in labor
  • Reducing fear, tension, and pain
  • Relaxation and breathing techniques
  • Movement and positions in labor
  • Support person's role
  • Massage, focal points, aromatherapy, and more

When to take the class: This class is designed to be taken after a Childbirth Prep class. We recommend taking this class in your 3rd trimester. This class is offered 1-2 times a month.
