ABOUT THE COMEDIANS

Erick Hellwig (headliner) is a Los Angeles based comedian. He has performed at SF Sketchfest (2023), won The U.S. Comedy Contest (2022), & secured “Best of Fest” in numerous festivals including The Aloha Comedy Festival (2022) & Comedy Chateau Festival (2022). Erick has been on America’s Got Talent & MTV & starred in the comedy pilot Death Lives. He hosts Podcast Hell, has written for MTV, & has been featured on Comedy Central, MTV Other & national commercials.

Jen McMullen (feature act) is the Winner of the Capital Region’s Best of the Best Comedy Contest. Jennifer takes you on a wild ride through her life with hilarious tales of lovers, family, co-workers and motherhood. She will have you laughing from start to finish and quoting her silly catchphrases by the end of the night! She has performed all over the Capital Region including the FunnyBone, the Comedy Works and the EGG as well as several hotspots in NYC, CT, RI and MA! Jennifer is an HR professional by day, comedian by night and mother 24/7. Her stories are relatable, honest and of course funny!

Charlie Nadler (host) owes his existence to a TV show; his parents met while writing together on Laverne & Shirley. In 10+ years of performing standup while based in Los Angeles, New York City, and now the Berkshires, he has released two albums and told jokes around the world in clubs, colleges, festivals, bars, country clubs, teen centers, basements, attics, and one barber shop. He also develops screenplays and serves as co-founder of Laugh Dealers, a company that produces custom comedy shows and consulting for companies and individuals. Nadler relocated here in 2019 with his wife Cary. Together they raise two cats who do not care for comedy.

ABOUT BRIGHT IDEAS BREWING

Founded in 2016 with its first location on the campus of the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, Bright Ideas Brewing started with a simple goal; to provide good beer to museum-goers and North Adams locals alike, creating a common space where the two groups could connect over a beer.

Since then, Bright Ideas has grown and evolved, with every batch of beer aiming to improve on the one that came before. The reach of their beers expanded when they began canning and distributing their beers to local restaurants and package stores around western Massachusetts.
