The same great show now in new places. . . Since fall of 2020 the Comedy Edge has brought you diverse lineups of some of the brightest and boldest voices in comedy today. . . Getting our start on the Oakland waterfront at Brooklyn Basin where we entertained thousands over three years at weekly sold out shows and then continuing to make a name for ourselves by taking our shows into new beautiful spaces around the Bay Area. Now you can join us every Friday night at Buck Wild Brewing. Their private lounge is a cozy intimate setting tucked away in the Jack London neighborhood of Oakland perfect for seeing comics from Netflix, Comedy Central and more.Executive Producer, Holly Shaw has been featured at clubs and showcases all over the Bay Area and Northern CA. In addition to being on her way to becoming a powerful voice in comedy she is also known for producing and creating spaces where creativity and innovation thrives.Before becoming a comedian,Holly Shawspent a lifetime on stage, T.V. and film as an actor, professional dancer and later as a speaker, coach and hypnotherapist. To keep the playing field level, we ask that you do only material you&#x27;ve just written in the previous 30 minutes, so no doing bits from your old set.)</p><p><strong>NEW!</strong> PLEASE NOTE: Online registration puts you earlier on the show list as long as you show up by 7:30pm to draw a prompt - be sure to show between 7:30-8pm to get in on the workshop.  If you&#x27;re not there by 8pm, we may need to bump you further down the list to be fair to those comics who show up early.  You can still play, but you will have to wait until the first group has performed in order to get your turn.</p><p>3-4 min per comedian (this time we&#x27;re keeping a little shorter because online plays a little differently than live)</p><h2></h2><h2>What Comedians Are Saying About the Comedy Lab Open Mic Experience:</h2><p><em>&quot;I loved this workshop.
