Comedy for Causes

Known primarily for the nation’s longest running independent comedy show (The Lincoln Lodge) we also produce special events, help others organizations to raise money with comedy events and offer classes (Feminine Comique and Stand-Up Seminary) to encourage more community participation in stand-up comedy.  We have been very successful at nurturing local talent and can point to a long line of alumni like Hannibal Burress, Kyle Kinane, T.J. Miller, Pete Holmes and Cameron Esposito who all got their start at The Lodge. Our reputation for professionalism, talent and integrity means organizations such as Just for Laughs and Comedy Central have invited us to collaborate with them.

Comedy for Causes! A monthly comedy show highlighting & supporting a different community organization for each and every show!

<p>Come out the last Saturday of every month to Lincoln Lodge’s Comedy For Causes show! Every show highlights &amp; financially aids a unique community organization in the Chicago area. Laugh at Chicago’s best and brightest stand-ups, drink some beers, and celebrate comedy - all for a great cause! </p><p>On Saturday, August 27th The Lincoln Lodge is proud to partner with <a href="https://elpc.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a><a href="https://www.farmsanctuary.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Farm Sanctuary,</a> an organization that fights the disastrous effects of animal agriculture on animals, the environment, social justice, and public health through rescue, education, and advocacy. Come out for laughs, drinks, and support a great local cause.  All box office and bar proceeds<a href="https://www.centeronhalsted.org/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"></a> from the event will be donated to Farm Sanctuary.</p>
