Soroptimist International (SI) of Joplin is a volunteer service organization for business and professional women dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in local communities and throughout the world.  Founded in 1937, the Joplin, Missouri club is part of Soroptimist International of the Americas which has nearly 100,000 members in 120 countries and territories.Our mission is:"To promote community service, personal growth and achievement, professional development, and to improve the status of women through economic and social programs."SI Joplin members carry out this mission by providing financial and volunteer support for numerous community projects, women's award programs, scholarships, and our primary service project - Camp Soroptimist.

Soroptimist International of Joplin's largest project is a week-long summer camp for foster children that has been held annually for over 30 years. We work in conjunction with the Department of Social Services to identify foster children between the ages of 8 and 14 who could benefit from this camp. Many of the children comment that it is the most fun they have all summer and look forward to coming back next year.
For many years, A Night at the Derby, was the largest fundraising event for Camp Soroptimist. This year we decided to shake things up a little and created “Comedy for Camp”. It is a casual, fun-filled evening that consists of good food, live and silent auctions, and of course lots of laughs.
This event is for ages 18+ only Ticket cost $55 per person or $100 per couple

Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? Yes, you must be 18 years of age to attend and 21 years of age for alcohol.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, you can use the Eventbrite app to store your ticket too!
What is the refund policy? Refunds for Comedy for Camp are not available.
The name on the registration/ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes.
