No, but please feel to bring in outside food if you like.  Check out one of the many great restaurants nearby before the show!

Yes, Zissimos has a full bar!

Is the performance space accessible?

No, the show is upstairs on the 2nd floor and only accessible via stairs.  Check out our other shows for more accessible performances!

What parking is available?

There is street parking throughout the neighborhood!

Can I reach the venue via public transit?

Accepted Answer

Yes, Zissimos is directly on bus lines 21 and 94, as well as a 15-20 minutes walk from the Woodberry light rail station.

Highwire regularly offers open jams and drop-in workshops, and you can also submit your team for one of our upcoming seasons - check out our website for more info!

What's this 'suggestion' I keep hearing about?

Accepted Answer

The suggestion (also called the input or the get) is when an improv group asks the audience for some inspiration for their show.  This could be a single world, a short anecdote, or the answer to a question.  It's a way to make each show specific to you - the audience!
