Comedy Bonfyre is back for our April show! Co-hosting is Ambi's bestie - Anna Artazova, another comedian in the DC scene! Our amazing line up includes: Iris Brody, Alex Dobrenko, Sophie Connell, Yamini Nambimadom, Ralph Anthony, Prateek Srivastava and Casey Balsham!Iris Brody is a comedian from New York. A self - proclaimed wordsmith, you may have seen her performing at The Pit or Littlefield or maybe somewhere on the internet. She was a semi-finalist in the 2015 Make Me Laugh Albany competition. Even she's not sure what's gonna come out of her mouth next. Alex Dobrenko is a writer, producer, improviser, and actor in Los Angeles, CA. His latest series DISTANCE, a much watch, was nominated for the 2018 Gotham Award: Breakthrough Shortform Series, was born in Ukraine, and moved to America when he was seven.Sophie Connell is unapologetically themself, and is a comedian who uses their wit and life experiences to create an unforgettable comedy experience. Featured in The Guardian, Sophie is an upcoming talent from Baltimore, Maryland, who hosts a bi-weekly show called Comedy for People Who Hate Joe Rogan. Yamini Nambimadom s a writer and performer who has spent the last four years doing comedy in and around Chicago and Los Angeles. She does sketch, stand-up, improv, and acting and trained at The Second City in Chicago and ComedySportz in Los Angeles. She hosts Pillow Fight, a comedy and culture podcast. A high energy goofball with lots to say, Anthony was deemed “the Mouth” by his childhood friends and hasn’t stopped making people laugh since. His credits also include the 2020 NY Underground Comedy Festival, ESPN, the 2018 NY Comedy Festival, and was chosen as one of Caroline's on Broadway Breakout Artists of 2019. Prateek Srivastava (try saying that 3 times fast) is a nationally touring comedian based in Chicago. His comedy album “Nick and Sheila’s Kid” debuted #1 on iTunes charts, and #1 on Amazon’s Best Seller List! Prateek is a multi-year regional finalist for STAND UP NBC Prateek has performed at festivals all over the country. He’s been featured on NPR, Amazon and the web series “Neurotic by Nature”!Casey Balsham is a stand up comedian living and breathing in New York City, she's performed all over the country and is a regular at New York Comedy Club and Gotham. She is the host of the "Shady Shit Podcast" and on her album "Son of a Barb" which hit number one on the iTunes charts, and can be streamed on Spotify and Pandora.
