<h3>COMEDY BINGO AT THE MATTHEWS COMMUNITY CENTER </h3>*Showtime is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.* Join us for all the fun, laughs and PRIZES on Thursday, September 5, 2024 at the Matthews Community Center at 7 pm. What is Comedy Bingo? It’s a super special fusion of humor and bingo excitement! We’ll provide comedy, bingo cards and lots of prizes. You bring the laughs. Tickets are $15 per person in advance or $20 at the door the day of the show. Admission is 21+ Note: Online tickets are exclusively available via Eventbrite and the Town of Matthews. Tickets via third-party sellers are NOT valid. <h3>OUR COMEDIANS:</h3>GAYLE MURRAY Gayle Murray is a comedian based out of Charlotte, North Carolina but has performed all over the American South in cities such as Memphis, Charlotte, and Raleigh. She hosted an open mic, called Playground at Pinhouse, that was voted Best Open Mic in 2021 by Elevate Magazine. She has hosted and performed for headliners such as Chanel Ali, Michael Palascak, and Andy Forrester. Gayle was also a showcase producer and host as a part of the Queen City Comedy Experience in 2022, and a performer in other festivals such as Stoopfest in Lansing, Michigan and the Bull City Comedy Festival in Durham, North Carolina.JEN FISHER Jen Fisher is a Charlotte-based comedian, podcaster, and corporate sellout with a storied background in theater and improv. When she's not performing or chained to her home office, you can find her eating, traveling, flirting with dogs, or in therapy.JORDAN CENTRY Jordan has a knack for approaching everyday observations and experiences with intelligence, silliness, and a touch of southern that audiences find hilarious and charming. He’s a fan favorite in Charlotte, performing in clubs and festivals across the east coast, including The Comedy Zone, Goodnights Comedy Club, and Don’t Tell Comedy. His music video commentary series has amassed millions of views on social media.PAUL SNYDER Paul Snyder is a touring comic that performs his own unique brand of humor in clubs and theaters across the country. He was a finalist in the 2020 Jeanne Robertson Humor Competition and just filmed his first DryBar special. He’s a lovable introvert that has featured for Henry Cho, Michael Palascak, Aaron Weber, Brian Bates, and many others.LAUREN ANSLEY – HOST AND SHOW PRODUCER As a corporate entertainer and trainer, Lauren works with organizations to infuse energy and connection into their meetings, conferences and special events. She is a keynote speaker and corporate emcee and humorist, providing interactive entertainment, keynote presentations and public speaking skills training. Lauren is the Founder and CEO of Ansley Corporate Entertainment and Instructor of the Women’s Stand-Up Comedy Class in Charlotte, NC.
