Originallyformed in 1983 as the community’s Civil Protective Custody program, The Bridge has evolved to become a comprehensive treatment facility with a complete continuum of care addressing substance use disorders and the behavioral health components that often accompany them. The Bridge helps men and women with limited financial resources to return to being productive citizens.

The Bridge Behavioral Health

The Bridge Behavioral Health welcomes stand-up comic Jess Joyce for a comedy benefit on Friday, September 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Rococo Theatre. The event is a fundraiser for The Bridge Behavioral Health, a comprehensive substance abuse treatment center.
Since he last performed in Lincoln in 2011, Jesse has gained increasing national popularity appearing regularly (and Winning the Internet!) on @Midnight, a comedy game show hosted by the also sober Chris Hardwick on Comedy Central.
Jesse is a frequent writer for Comedy Central’s Roasts (including the Roasts of Donald Trump, Larry the Cable Guy, Justin Bieber, and Joan Rivers) as well as for several awards shows including The 2013 Oscars hosted by Seth McFarlane. Jesse is not only a very funny guy, but a recovering alcoholic. 
General admission tickets are $22 plus fees for this 18 and older show. No alcohol will be served. Doors open at 6:45 p.m.
