Have a go at using a pottery wheel!
As part of Icene Arts showcase event on Thursday 12th of November, I'm inviting people into my studio to have a go at using a pottery wheel. As part of the showcase, you'll also be welcome to take a look at the other residents work while you're there.
No pottery experience is needed, I'll demonstrate and talk you through the basics (clay preparation, centering, pulling walls) and then you'll have a go yourself. You'll have 30-40 minutes to throw with my help - the focus will be on having fun rather than trying to make something perfect on your first go!
Kids are welcome to attend and have a go, however their guardian will be required to supervise at all times.
Onsite parking is free for the first 45 minutes, then there are fees.
