About this event

  • 1 hour 45 minutes

For the first time in OTC improv’s 15 year history, we are putting on a show on a Saturday night for the general public where all the improvisers will be between the ages of 12 and 14. But this is not a kid’s show.

These kids will be out on weekend passes from their Juvenile Detention Center!! In fact some of them might be doing scenes in handcuffs sitting next to their probation officer. Periodically, you might even hear an ankle monitor go off. At the top of the show when we mention where the exits are, every kid on that stage will be thinking “escape route”. And I guarantee all of them will have an attitude!!

On a serious note, the students you will see on stage have been selected out of hundreds of students across the Charlotte and Fort Mill Area. Can you imagine being their age and performing not just for family and friends but the general public? Think about when you were 13, would you improvise on stage?

“Come see tomorrow’s improvisers today”!!!
