About this event

  • 3 hours 30 minutes

The second annual Columbus Natural Wine Festival, presented by The Bottle Shop, Law Bird, Coast Wine House, Parable, Agni, Fyr Short North, Stories on High, Chapman's Eat Market, Hiraeth, and Accent Wine! Join us as we share dozens of amazing Natural Wines artfully crafted by some of the premier natural winemakers from around the country who are passionate about organic and biodynamic farming, sustainability, and making wine free of added sugars, flavor enhancers, and chemical preservatives. And since great wine demands great food, we are please to offer live-fire cooking from James Beard nominated chefs Avishar Barua of Agni and BJ Lieberman of Chapman's and Hiraeth!

The event will be located on West Gay Street under the overstreet art installation "Current". All guests must be 21 or over and present valid ID at the time of the event.

The Natural Wine Festival is part of UnderCurrent, an event series by the community, for the community and facilitated by Downtown Columbus, Inc. As part of a broader effort to activate key areas of Downtown Columbus and provide unique and creative programming, Downtown Columbus, Inc. is supporting up to five events in 2024 through grants and event assistance. All events in the UnderCurrent event series will take place on Gay Street directly under Current, the sky-high sculpture by artist Janet Echelman.

Frequently asked questions

What if it rains?

While the event is outdoors, we will have tents set up over the street to minimize the risk. There is also a contingency to move the festival indoors if the weather becomes to bad.

Where should I park?

Given that the event is focused on wine, we suggest that you join us via taxi or ride sharing service. The best drop-off point for this is Brioso Coffee on High Street (grab a cup!). If you prefer to drive the LeVeque Tower parking garage is less than a block away and overs 7 stories of parking.

Does the festival cost money?

The festival is free to enter, however tickets for the wine tasting must be purchased prior to tasting. Wine samples are $2 per pour.
