About this event

  • 1 hour

This walking group meets Tuesdays at 9:30am near the Columbia Mercantile building on Main Street in the Historic Park. Watch for us in the parking lot across from the St. Charles. Stephanie Bushnell is leading this group. They will meet weekly for 10 weeks to walk.

APRIL 16 THROUGH JUNE 18, JOIN ANY TIME!

This walking group is what we call here at Blue Zones Project a walking moai. Moai (pronounced moh-eye) is a concept from Okinawa, Japan that means coming together for a common purpose. The Okinawans are some of the world’s longest living people who join together to support each other in times of need. Walking Moais, or walking groups, encourage that same social support while adding the extra emotional and physical benefits of walking.

We hope to see you there!
