Please join us for the first annual Colorado Pollinator Summit. This gathering is bringing together over 80 organizations working on the conservation and protection of Colorado’s pollinators. This timely meeting includes featured speaker Michele Colopy of Pollinator Stewardship Council, breakout sessions focused on collaboration, and networking opportunities. 
Mission 
The Colorado Pollinator Summit will create a network of collaborative organizations that will work together to conserve, protect and create pollinator habitat while educating communities across the state of Colorado to protect our native invertebrate pollinators.
Purpose 
This summit will allow for the scientific community to band together to make a more significant impact on the health of Colorado pollinators. Through collaborations (between organizations across Colorado) best practices, resources and knowledge will be shared to support education of communities, conservation of existing habitats, restoration of habitats and research on native and introduced populations of pollinators in the state of Colorado.
Who is this event open to? 
Representatives of government, nonprofit, education, and business ORGANIZATIONS working on the conservation and protection of Colorado's polllinators. We will be distributing an attendee list with name, organization, department and email address. Please let us know by June 14 if you would prefer to not be included on this list. 
Registration
Register here on Eventbrite to reserve your spot. This event is free but seating is limited. 
Check in with your name at the SEEC Auditorium from 7:45 to 8:20. (You do not need to print your Eventbrite ticket.) Use the west or east entrances on the north end of the building. FOOD AND DRINK 
Please consider bringing your own reusable coffee cup and/or water bottle to reduce our waste footprint.
Coffee and light refreshments will be provided for the morning registration and networking time. 
You may bring your own lunch, or purchase lunch at the door for $8 (payable by cash, check made out to "CSBA", or credit card). Lunch prepared by Chef Connie Gordon served on real plates to minimize waste:
Turkey, Ham or Hummus sandwiches on Fresh baked breads Large Organic Green Salad with house-made dressings. Organic tortilla chips with fresh made salsa. Lemonade, ice tea and water. 
 
TRANSPORTATION
The event will be held in the Auditorium of the <A TITLE="SEEC on Google Maps" TARGET="_blank" HREF="https://goo.gl/maps/usWCE5zxuco" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Sustainability, Energy and Environment Complex at 4001 Discovery Drive</A>, on East Campus of the University of Colorado northwest of the intersection of Foothills and Colorado. Coming from Denver on Highway 36, take the Foothills exit. From Foothills, go west on Colorado Ave, then north (right) onto Discovery Drive.

BIKE/WALK
The SEEC site is accessible for biking or walking. The Boulder Creek bike path runs just north of the SEEC complex.
PARKING
- Full Day Parking at SEEC in Lot 556 
 This parking lot wraps around the SEEC building and can be entered on the right after you turn onto Discovery Drive from Colorado Ave or from the rear of the building. 
If you arrive between 7:30am and 12:00pm, you may purchase a permit onsite from the lot attendant for $10 (CASH ONLY).

- Metered parking at SEEC (Lot 550): 
If you arrive after 12:00pm, you can use the limited metered parking ($1.75 per hour) which is located in the roundabout. 
- Off-site parking: 
There is not street parking in direct proximity to SEEC. You may be able to find parking within a 10-minute walk.
 
BUS
The site is accessible by bus. There are local bus routes with stops on 30th St, Colorado Ave, and Arapahoe Ave that run in close proximity to SEEC. These are: Jump (Arapahoe), Bound (30th), Stampede (Colorado).

Runs from the Benson Earth Science building on the main CU campus, on the south side of Colorado west of Folsom St, and goes directly to the SEEC complex — can transfer to this bus from the <A TARGET="_blank" HREF="http://www3.rtd-denver.com/Hop.shtml" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">HOP bus</A> which also stops at the Benson Earth Science building

FAQs
Can I update my registration information?
Yes, certainly! Please email any updates to the event registrar at network@peopleandpollinators.org.
Can I bring materials to share?
Yes, there will be a few tables set up for attendees to share materials. Please feel free to bring brochures, sign-up sheets or other materials to put out on the information tables. (Unfortunately, we do not have space for individual tabling or for banners, display boards or exhibits.)
I have extra time to explore Boulder. What do you recommend?
