The Tate House Museum is the 18th Century Georgian Colonial home of the British Mast Agent, George Tate. Built in 1755 and owned by the National Society of Colonial Dames in the State of Maine, the Tate House Museum is a National Historic Landmark located in the Stroudwater Historic District. This is a beer centric tour of the Tate House Museum followed by beer and snacks in the gardens of the museum

<p><em>Come find out what you don&#x27;t know about making beer in colonial times while you tour the Tate House museum on a special guided tour. What is  spruce beer? How did a woman in the 1700&#x27;s make beer for the family? This is a one hour tour followed with a social time in the &quot;backyard&quot; where you will be given a Tate House pint glass and 2 pints of Mast Landing ale. Imbibing is encouraged!!</em></p>
