The Collider

Ever wonder why interested prospects are not converting to customers? Or why you aren't retaining as many of your current customers as you expected? And whether something about your product or service is causing these issues and impacting revenue?  What can you do about it when budgets are limited and deadlines are tight? 
Guerrilla Usability studies can reveal all of this, and it doesn't need to be elaborate. Just you, your product, a plate of cookies, and a customer. And best of all, you only need 3-5 real humans for 15 minutes each. 
This workshop will be led by Dave Michelson, an Applied Research Software Designer at UNC Asheville's National Environmental Modeling and Analysis Center (<A HREF="https://nemac.unca.edu/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">NEMAC</A>). His 25-year career in the Geospatial and Technology field has enabled him to gain unique insights from work across numerous companies and industries including an engineering firm, a consultancy, a county government, a public school system, and, of course, a startup. Dave's expertise is in designing and building web-based Geospatial tools with an emphasis on incorporating user needs. Dave enables customers and clients to better understand their business issues. He views technologies as a means to remove some of the uncertainty we all face in the world.
