Join us on September 8th for a conversation with John David Lawrence and Daina Augaitis. The discussion will focus on some of John&#x27;s most treasured pieces. Hear the stories behind each piece. Doors open at 5 pm; the lecture begins at 6 pm.About John David Lawrence:John David Lawrence is a life-long collector of mid-20th C. objects and owner of DoDa Antiques in Vancouver.About Daina Augaitis:Daina Augaitis is Chief Curator Emerita at the Vancouver Art Gallery, where she led the curatorial programs between 1997-2017. One of her last collaborative projects at the museum was &quot;Modern in the Making: Post-war Craft and Design in British Columbia.&quot; During the research for this exhibition in 2018, she was introduced to Mr. Lawrence&#x27;s outstanding collection of BC ceramics.This event is a part of The Canadian Society of Decorative Arts/Cercle canadien des arts décoratifs&#x27; annual symposium.
