COLLECTIVE IMPACT AT CRAFT - help beat blood cancer

Science community and beyond! Let's come together to show our support for Team Collective Impact and leader Mandy Harris, Visionary of the Year candidate for the LLSC. Pricing includes a burger and beer; plus, a 50/50 draw and silent auction will also be present at the event. Half of every ticket sold will be donated to the LLSC, so you can enjoy your burger and brew all while supporting a great cause. Together, we can make a difference in the fight against blood cancer!

Some of you may personally know Mandy as she has been in the genetics field for quite some time - first as a technologist, then as the head of the Clinical Genetics Technology program at BCIT before moving into the private sector. She lost her father, John, in June of 2022 to blood cancer, and this loss affected the family deeply. Mandy was moved to receive a nomination to be involved in the "Visionary of the Year" campaign, with the personal goal of raising $200,000 dollars aimed to fund life-saving research for blood cancers.
