The KMW School of Painting is a Somerville, MA based arts nonprofit.Our mission is to empower a creative community by providing access to low-cost instruction in the visual arts to students of all ages and abilities, and by welcoming and celebrating all students as artists.

If you are looking to expand your creative horizons, our workshop in collage is a fun opportunity to engage with this immediately accessible and sustainable artform. Experiment with composition and transform found materials into satisfying and unexpected pieces.Participants should bring a pair of scissors and some source material: magazines, books, photos, newspapers - anything that is made of paper with images you like and don’t mind cutting!
