CUT // STICK // SHARE with the lazy susans

Led by Holly, this workshop will explore ideas of collective layering, via cutting, ripping and sticking. No prior art experience needed!

Using second-hand magazines collected from local charity shops, hairdressers and neighbours, this session breathes new life into those glossy pages - not hiding the snips, transformations and selections from the Collage Café before. Collage has a rich history infused with activism, experimentation and art therapy and has been intrinsic to the Lazy Susan's curatorial and artistic practice.

Each session begins with a collaborative exercise to get those creative hands and minds warmed up, before entering the hour long collaging free flow. Experimentation, playing and sharing is encouraged. Materials, scissors and glue are all provided, but feel free to bring along your own mags and refreshments if you like!
