Screenwriting workshop for emerging filmmakers with no experience.

Have you always wanted to write a screenplay but don't know how to get started? Join us for the Collaborative Screenwriting Workshop for anyone who wants to tell their story. Award-winning indie film producer Shameka Sawyer will guide the group through an 1.5 hour workshop, teaching them how to write and format a script. Students are welcome to bring characters, themes or images they want to explore, resulting in a one-page script written by all participants by the end of the workshop.Beginner-friendly.
