Interested parties from all area colleges and universities, government, non-profits, health-related organizations and the general public will convene for an evening of networking, food, and drink. The purpose of this event is to generate more practice-based research in the region.

The event will be kicked off with Nathan Johnson, Chief Policy Officer for the Washington State Health Care Authority. He coordinates policy research and planning activities that support program and policies for low-income populations.

Following the presentation, faculty and community professionals across multiple sectors will have the opportunity to join table talks of topical interest to generate and identify collaborative research opportunities to improve the health and well-being of the people and communities in Eastern Washington.
