Collaboration Tree Hackathon

Our organization's goal is to bridge the gap between dreamers and doers, for a more innovative future.  We focus on large scale innovation and how to achieve it.  Our first innitiative is creating theCollaboration Tree(cTree) framework, which will help groups of people collaborate online arround a specific goal or theme.  There will be many ways to use this framework, but we'll use it to drive innovation and large scale collaboration around big ideas.

Foundation For an Innovative Future

The Collaboration Tree framework, the first initiative from the <A HREF="http://www.innovativefuture.org" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="InnovativeFuture.org" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Foundation For an Innovative Future</A>, will be an open source tool for online collaboration around specific topics or goals.  It's part wiki, part forum, part blueprint, and completely innovative.
After having difficulty trying to explain the cTree, the decision was made to create a demo site, which has already been <A HREF="https://github.com/F4IF/ctree-demo" TARGET="_blank" TITLE="GitHub" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">open sourced</A> after having significant work put into it.  There are still plenty of features which need to be completed and bugs which need to be fixed before the site can go live, so we're holding this hackathon to make a lot of progress at once.
Developers of any experience level are welcome, even without web development experience.  We also welcome designers who want to provide more polished/cohesive graphics or give feedback on UX improvements, as well as anyone who wants to test features as they're implemented (QA).
There's no need to commit to any day or specific hours, but we'll be posting more on our <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/events/277003106037179" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Facebook </A>page about times for opening and closing Facebook Live videos each day.  Instructions are available on <A HREF="https://github.com/F4IF/ctree-demo" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">GitHub</A> for setting up the project on your machine.

The site has been implemented based on Google's <A HREF="https://www.polymer-project.org/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Polymer Project</A>.  A video has been uploaded to <A HREF="https://www.facebook.com/InnovativeFuture/videos/1462283317125679/" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Facebook</A> covering the basics of Polymer and the Collaboration Tree project structure.
