Cold Waves returns to DTLA for one night of darkwave delights, industrial stomp and electronic fusion, featuring the Wax Trax! triumverate of FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, A SPLIT SECOND and LEAD INTO GOLD, with French techno maven SIERRA, Italian synth-pop trio ASH CODE, and our favorite warm leatherette, PLACK BLAGUE! DJ and Live PA interludes courtesy of LAs own BABY MAGICK and DAMASCUS KNIVES.
Tickets on sale Friday APRIL 7, with 3 tiers of attendance, all featuring some of the lowest fees in the live music industry: Open floor GA, open seating balcony (with floor GA) and very limited VIP, which includes balcony 2-top table, artist meet n greet, Cold Waves 2023 Comp CD, laminate, and more. This is a strictly 21+ event, doors at 6:30PM and show at 7:30PM. For more info, visit www.coldwaves.net.
This event features LA appearances from FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY after their spring tour with MINISTRY/GARY NUMAN, as well as LEAD INTO GOLD, fresh off their support duties with SKINNY PUPPY (both tours skipping a spring LA play). Belgiums A SPLIT SECOND makes their first area appearance since the 90s, ASH CODE makes their LA debut, and SIERRA has her first visit since last years run with CARPENTER BRUT. Finally, if you caught PLACK BLAGUE at last years Substance, then you know you need to come early and just... start... dancing!
