Coffee Talks at 21c is a monthly gathering that brings together community leaders, advocates, and engaged citizens to foster dialogue on pressing social issues in St. Louis. On May 28, we are proud to partner with St. Louis Area Diaper Bank, our May Nonprofit of the Month, to host Ending the Cycle – Together in St. Louis.
This timely discussion will center on period poverty and diaper need—two critical yet often overlooked public health issues that disproportionately affect low-income families in our city. Guests will learn about the work of the St. Louis Area Diaper Bank, hear directly from community advocates, and walk away with tangible ways to make a difference. Whether through volunteerism, advocacy, or simply spreading awareness, we all have a role in helping to end the cycle.
Key Discussion Points:
• Understanding Period Poverty & Diaper Need in St. Louis
• The Link Between Basic Hygiene Access and Health Equity
• How St. Louis Area Diaper Bank Is Supporting Families
• Simple Actions That Lead to Systemic Change
• Creating Dignity and Agency Through Community Support
This Coffee Talk brings together diverse voices—nonprofit leaders, social service providers, and concerned citizens—for a morning of powerful conversation and community connection.
