About this event

  • 2 hours

Grab a coffee from The Vintage Coffeehouse or Sweet Beet on your way into town and join us at Talent Maker City for a time to work with clay! You will learn one of several various hand-building techniques to create functional pottery: slabs, coils, pinch pots, and more. Cost includes instruction, clay, and bisque firing.

If you make something at this workshop that you want to keep, here’s what happens next:

  1. Your piece will be dried and bisque-fired within 2-3 weeks after the workshop.
  2. TMC will call you to let you know your piece is ready for glazing.
  3. You can sign up for one of our Stop, Drop, n Glaze workshops to learn and glaze your own piece. OR, we can give it a basic glaze for you. (Cost-$10). If you are unable to take a glaze class within 2 months after your class, we request that you take your bisqued pieces home to free up space in our studio.
  4. TMC will give it a final firing and call you to let you know it’s ready to be picked up.
  5. You will enjoy (or get a kick out of) what your hands have made!
