About this event

Join us for Coffee and Conversations, this is a special behind-the-scenes tour of our facilities, where you'll witness firsthand how we provide hope in real ways to those facing a food or financial crisis here in Catawba County.

We will begin in our conference area, and then tour our crisis support center. During the tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore our newly acquired fridge and freezer with the Charlie Bunn Food Bank, where we store fresh produce and essential items to distribute to families facing hunger. Learn how these state-of-the-art appliances have enhanced our capacity to serve even larger parts of the community, ensuring that no one goes without the food they need. .

Next, we'll take you through our thrift store, where every purchase supports our mission of assisting those in crisis. See how gently used clothing, household goods, and other items find new homes while also generating vital funds to sustain our crisis assistance programs.

Throughout the tour, you'll meet our dedicated staff and volunteers who work tirelessly to make a difference in the lives of others. Hear inspiring stories of resilience and transformation as we share how our services offer more than just material support – they provide hope and dignity to individuals and families facing adversity.

By joining us for these Coffee and Conversations, you'll gain a deeper understanding of the impact Ashure Ministry has been making for over 50 years and we are on a strategic path to continue to help even more we in our community know that they are truly cared for. We are excited to share our mission with you and ways you can also be involved in this great opportunity to serve. Together, we're not just assisting; we're offering hope and building a brighter future for all.
