Welcome to Coffee and (Community) Conversation: Child Friendly Cities Initiative!

Date: Tue May 06 2025

Time: 09:00 AM

Location: TBD

Come join us for a morning of coffee and engaging conversations about creating child-friendly cities. The City and County of Denver has begun the journey toward becoming a UNICEF Child Friendly City. UNICEF's Child Friendly Cities Initiative (CFCI) provides a framework based on the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child, guiding cities in creating safer, more just, equitable, inclusive, and child-responsive communities.

At the May Coffee and Conversation event, two staff members from the Office of Children’s Affairs will lead a discussion on what is working well in our city and what areas need improvement. This conversation is the first in a series of community conversations where we’ll ask our communities, our families, and our youth to help inform our plan and identify our key priorities to build the City that empowers all youth and supports all families.
