Louisville magician/autism advocate Cody Clark is celebrating his 31st birthday by hosting a special edition of his Cody & Friends magic & variety show series. This celebration will be on Sat. June 22nd at 7 PM at Highview Arts Center and features three of Cody’s favorite performers – two fellow magicians plus a rising star in country music.
Alongside Cody’s emceeing is Elizabethtown, KY’s rising star of country music Gracie Yates – who will also lead the audience in singing Happy Birthday to Cody, Newport, KY comedy magician and advocate for bipolar disorder Jake Dapper, and as the headliner, Kentucky Kingdom’s resident magician and local magic staple David Garrard.
Cody & Friends is a magic & variety show hosted at least twice a year since 2022 at the Highview Arts Center. Each show features Cody’s best friends in magic and the performing arts, so no two shows are alike. Future shows include the 10th anniversary performance of Cody’s autism advocacy magic show A Different Way of Thinking on Nov. 9th.
Front row V.I.P. seating is $30, including one free soft drink and complimentary signed show poster. General admission tickets are $20. They can be purchased on Eventbrite, at codyclarkmagic.com/codyfriends or at the door. The Highview Arts Center is located at 7406 Fegenbush Lane.
