About this event

This hands-on-workshop will walk participants through examples of typical clinical programming processes in R. This is for entry level R users interested in jump starting or enhancing their clinical programming skill set. Programming processes will include but not be limited to:

* Creating Variables

* Combining Data

* Group by Processing

* Transposing/Pivoting Data

* Handling Duplicates

* Summarizing Data

We will be using RStudio and Base R and Tidyverse packages for this workshop against example clinical data.

Bio:

Brian Varney has been a solutions architect with Experis for over 32 years. Located in Kalamazoo, Michigan, he keeps busy with providing R and SAS training and consulting (plus a few hours a week for Rugby and Soccer). He has worked mostly in the pharmaceutical industry but also has worked in industries such as financial, manufacturing, insurance, entertainment and telecommunications.
