Session Topic: The Mixer | Interactive JavaScript
Join us for our monthly coding series, Coding &amp; Cocktails. Women are invited to attend sessions to get an introduction to website building in a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
Objects, fetching data and templates - oh my! The world of JavaScript is vast and this month we'll dive deeper into making your web applications interactive. Like the mixer in a cocktail, interactivity is a powerful way to customize the behavior of your web project. You'll also have time to practice your newly acquired JavaScript skills with support from our mentors!!
There will be lots of guidance and support for those with no coding experience so come join the fun!

<LI>Attendance at May's Intro to Javascript session is helpful but not required - lean on the available mentors to help if you were unable to join us in May. There are no stupid questions!</LI>
<LI>If this is your first Coding &amp; Cocktails session, installing the tools and applications we use in our sessions ahead of time will help you get the most out of the session. Instructions will be available in the confirmation email you'll receive after purchasing a ticket.</LI>
<LI>Wifi-enabled laptop is required. Don't have one? Request to borrow one of ours when you sign up. (Sorry, Chromebooks are not supported.)</LI>
<LI>Must be at least 21 to attend</LI>
<LI>Cocktails, non-alcoholic beverages, and dinner served</LI>
