CodeCrew Code School and Medtronic are joining forces to host a groundbreaking event to harness the creativity and innovation of youth in Memphis. This collaboration will bring together young individuals aged 16-24 and members of Medtronic's young professional group for a hackathon-style event.
The challenge will focus on developing solutions in the mobility space to address critical concerns for Memphis residents. The CodeCrew Code School and Medtronic (CodeTronic) collaboration in the Ford Urbanite Team Memphis Mobility Challenge would be to engage local youth and professionals in developing sustainable, electrified mobility solutions that connect urban and rural communities.
This initiative aims to promote equitable mobility, integrate local communities in the innovation process, and establish Memphis as a global leader in mobility innovation and access.
Day 1: Thursday, 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm
Day 2: Friday, 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Objective:
The primary goal of this event is to engage young minds in finding innovative solutions for:
- Creating safe access to transportation.
- Enhancing safety throughout the mobility journey.
- Addressing the challenges and perceptions around personal vehicle ownership.
- Understanding the total cost of car and mobility ownership.
