CoderDojoDSM Meetup: Christmas Coding Challenge

Tech Journey is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization committed to inspiring youth in central Iowa to increase their knowledge and interest in technology by providing engaging learning opportunities led by technology professionals.

Each month at CoderDojoDSM, students ages 8 – 18 learn to code, build a website, create an app or game, program a robot, or simply explore technology in a less-structured, creative, and social environment. <ul><li>This month's meetup will be at Lean TECHniques, an information technology and software development company based in Johnston.</li><li>CoderDojoDSM is free and students of all skill levels are welcome.</li><li>This month will include a special Christmas coding challenge to be shared at the meetup.</li><li>A parent or guardian is required to complete the registration process. Youth age 8–13 require a parent or guardian to be present during the meetup.</li><li>When registering, please select the appropriate ticket which tells us if the student will be bringing his/her own laptop computer or would like to reserve and use one of our computers.</li><li>All skillsets are welcome! Those with advanced knowledge will be assisted in creating more advanced projects.</li><li>Please be respectful to the volunteer leaders, mentors, and host.
