Speaker Info: Mania Aghaei Meibodi (Ph.D, Lic. Eng, M.Arch) is an Assistant Professor of Architecture and director of the Digital Architecture and Research Technologies (DART) Lab at Taubman College of Architecture and Urban Planning, University of Michigan. She is an architect with focus on computational design, hybrid robotic construction to material innovations. She develops disruptive digital design and fabrication technologies and hybrid robotic construction methods with additive manufacturing at its core, to help digitize construction and reduce greenhouse gas emissions related to the building industry.
