Oftentimes, the breadth of potential computational design applications leaves practitioners in the AEC industry confused and paralyzed. If it’s applied, it is often only in the early design phases. Is there room for computation in other phases of a project’s life cycle?

Join co.de.D (Computational Design Detroit) as we explore the application of computational methodologies in technical design and digital fabrication with our guests Molly Chen (Associate Project Manager, SITU Fabrication), Gustav Fagerström (Digital Practice Leader, Walter P Moore) and Karl Daubmann (Dean, LTU College of Architecture and Design).

Gustav will lead the event with a presentation on how his team leveraged computation in the development and delivery of the façade of the Chase Bank Arena, home of 2018 NBA champions Golden State Warriors. Following the presentation will be a panel discussion on the event’s topic along with Q&A from the audience.
