CODEcamp
Ready to build new worlds and solve problems? CODEcamp is the place for junior engineers and computer scientists to learn, play, and create.
Join us Fri, 05/05 at the Beaufort Digital Corridor "BASEcamp" for a kids' CODEcamp.
Be sure to sign up today on Eventbrite to reserve your spot!
Our junior engineers and computer scientists will explore coding concepts, computer science fundamentals, and applied mathematics in an exciting way. Every camp features fun storytelling, active games, and relevant coding challenges.
Missed out on our prior CODEcamps? No worries! Our camps are flexible enough to accommodate your student at whatever skill level they might be at.
Our camps are focused heavily on Python: a real, industry common coding language. We encourage parents to please bring their own computers for their students to use. It would be even better if the computers have Python installed but it is not essential.
Our curriculum is designed for Middle School students; however, we have had elementary school students successfully participate! If your student is in elementary school, please plan on a guardian attending the camp with them so they receive additional support. Parents are always welcome to join for free.
This month we are learning about Computer Architecture! Specifically, how computers and computer parts work.
See you soon!
Cost:
- $30 per student
- Light snack will be provided
- Bring your own laptop
Parking:
- Metered parking in lot
- Free street parking on Carteret
