Where can I park?

Free parking is available in garage building #7 located at 500 NE 2nd Ave (Entrance on NE 6th Street). See a campus map here. Street parking is also available nearby using the PaybyPhone app.

Can I attend the coding workshops with my child?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Parents can sit through the workshops with their child. Additional seating will be provided toward the back of the classroom for parents. If the student is under 13 years old, a parent or guardian must be present.

What is the age minimum to attend the workshops?

We recommend students be at least 8 years old and have basic keyboarding/computing skills.

What materials and preparation does my child need to attend the workshop?

Workshop participants must bring their own laptop.

How can my student participate in the coding competition?

Accepted Answer

Code/Art's 3 coding competitions: CodeYourSelf (National), Animated Art (National) and ChangeMaker (South Florida) Competitions are open! Students may submit an entry until February 17th, 2023.  Learn more at code-art.com/compete

Will there be Teacher workshops?

I can't attend in person, will there be online sessions?

Code/Art's closing ceremony consisting of a keynote fireside chat and awards ceremony celebrating all competition finalists and winners will be broadcasted live on our Facebook and YouTube page.

Do you have any perks for bringing a group of students?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Please email info@code-art.com if you're planning a field trip with a group of students. We're offering free t-shirts (while supplies last).
